National Taichung University of
Education(NTCU) and TECO
Thanksgiving Heritage Tea Party:
TECO President Huang Maoxiong with
NTCU teachers and Students.
NTCU president Bor-Chen Kuo Presents
Alumnus Lin Chih-Chu's Artwork as an
Expression of Gratitude to TECO
president.
He has gone
through his childhood, and
experienced the many facets of life.
In his most glorious era, he has
reached countless achievements, and
also led TECO to survive and
continue to grow steadily in the
most stagnant epidemic era. Perhaps
it is such perseverance, strong
willpower and rich life experience
that President Maoxiong Huang of
TECO, who can still ride the wind
and waves, can better understand how
to help the new generation to start
a life.
TECO
President Maoxiong Huang said,
"Young people are the future of the
country and we should provide them
with more opportunities. We hope
that this scholarship and bursary
will inspire students to persevere
in their pursuit of excellence,
drink water and think of the source,
and contribute to the society."
Recalling that at that time, due to
the efforts of the chair of the
Department of International
Business, Yinhui Cheng carried out
industry-university cooperation.
Huang found his childhood memories
and his father graduated from
Taichung Normal School the
Affiliated Experimental Elementary
School of National Taichung
University of Education and TECO
President gives back to his alma
mater after entering business.
President
Bor-Chen Kuo of National Taichung
University of Education(NTCU) led
the Affiliated Experimental
Elementary School President Jiaqing
Yang, division chiefs and awardees
to welcome TECO President Maoxiong
Huang and his entourage. NTCU
presented Aim with alumni Lin
Chih-Chu’s paintings. NTCU President
Kuo said, "This Thanksgiving Tea
Party stands for our gratitude to
President Maoxiong Huang. In the
49th year of the Republic of China,
teacher Wanyi Huang donated funds to
let the school build an ivory
fountain pool at the entrance of the
school, witnessing the graduation
and growth of students one after
another. After 60 years, through
corporate internships and donations,
TECO President Maoxiong Huang has
enabled more students to connect
with the industry and had more
opportunities to pursue their
dreams. His generous donation will
change the lives of many students,
enabling them to face the challenges
of the future with greater
confidence. He will give more
students the opportunity to pursue
higher education and make important
contributions in the future."
Scholarship recipients come from
single-parent households, families
in debt, those working multiple jobs
to support themselves, families
facing sudden hardships, and those
with sick fathers. This scholarship,
like timely rain, provides them with
a breathing space, allowing them to
continue their education and pursue
their dreams. They also translate
these blessings into action by
helping children in rural areas with
the spirit of altruism. With the
ability, they do not forget their
original intentions to give back.
This is also the legacy of teacher
Wanyi Huang and TECO President Huang
Maoxiong, gradually influencing
these young individuals, enabling
them to extend kindness when they
have the abilities.
TECO
President Huang Maoxiong and NTCU
President Bor-Chen Kuo share a
common vision of helping students at
NTCU gain more exposure and
opportunities. In addition to
providing internship opportunities
in TECO and supporting economically
disadvantaged students, they plan to
explore more cooperative
opportunities in the future to
strengthen the university's
industry-academia research
characteristics and promote the
integration of theory and practice
in education. |
