The Graduate Institute of Curriculum and Instruction was established in 2004 based on the demand of localization research in the field of curriculum and instruction. The purpose of the Institute is to make up the leak of the past teacher training courses, to promote th e professional of elementary and secondary curriculum and instruction. By academic services, the secondary and elementary school principals and the chiefs develop its management and leadership skills. Besides, fostering the human resources in designing curriculum and instruction of pre-job training is the other main purpose and the courses focus on the theory and practicum of elementary and secondary curriculum and instruction. There are 11 faculty members: 2 professors, 8 associate professors, and 1 assistant professor, all of whom have Ph.D.s in their respective fields.
