The twelfth Session of Jixue Lecture Series Successfully Concludes with Professor NI-SE PENG as Guest Speaker
On October 7, our Department of Language and Literacy Education specially invited Professor Ni-Se Peng, Chair of the Department of Applied Chinese Language Studies and Dean of the College of Humanities and Education at Chung Yuan Christian University, to deliver the 12th Ji Xue Lecture titled “Systematic, Multimodal, and AI Applications in Chinese Language Education.”
Professor Peng shared her extensive experience in integrating AI into language teaching, emphasizing that AI is a tool to enhance teaching efficiency and foster innovation, not to replace educators. She also highlighted the importance of critical thinking and professional judgment when using AI in education.
Through the engaging and accessible presentation, Professor Peng guided teachers and students to explore AI’s applications in Chinese language education, sparking lively discussion and inspiration for further innovation in the classroom.
