
Dr. Yang Szu-Wei passed the
evaluation of the Ministry of
Education for continuous service
as the president of the
university in July in
commendation for his
achievements in building up the
school’s reputation, high job
placement rate for the
graduates, substantial faculty
academic growth, successful
expansion of teaching resources,
substantiation of the library
collection, and administrative
reform in the past three years.
President Yang disclosed his
vision for the future
development of the school in the
September 22nd University
President Election Campaign
Presentation. He laid out the
development of the school in six
axes: Renowned for Excellence,
Full Job Placement, Quality
Education, International Vision,
Aesthetic Campus, and Reform
with Innovativeness. His ideal
aims to lead the school to
become a University of
Excellence for Education in
Science and Humanity and he
strives to push the school into
the hall of elite institutions.
The full faculty body took a
vote on September 29th and
reelected Dr. Yang as the
President of the University for
the next term until School Year
2013. With the leadership of Dr.
Yang, the faculty body expects
this school, which has a century
of heritage, to come to life and
shine in the academic world
again. The University will march
onto a new stage to become a new
institution of excellence.
