

The Principal of the school’s
Thai sister school Udon Thani
Rajabhat University, Dr.
Nattitep Pitaksanurat, and the
group of 15 representatives from
Udon Thani Rajabhat arrived on
March 20th for a visit and
conference with the school’s
executive and academic directors
for possible cooperation
projects.
The conference was hosted by Principal Yang
Szu-wei, Director Hu Feng-rung
of the Office of International
Affairs & Research Development,
Chief Liao Chen-huei, Director
of the Office of Student Affairs
Lin Tsai-hsiu, Director of the
Division of Continuing Education
Liu Ying, Dean of Education
College Sheu Tian-wei, Dean of
College of Management Hu Len-kuo
– a total of 9 professors and
staff. This is the first formal
visit and exchange event between
the two schools since the two
schools signed the sister school
contract in 2006. During the
conference, the NTCU and Udon
Thani Rajabhat gave brief
presentations about their
schools and discussed details of
possible future partnership. The
Director of the NTCU’s Chinese
Language Center Lai Cheng-ji
indicated that the two schools
could begin short-term exchange
through summer camps, sending
exchange students to each campus
to learn new languages so to
understand each other’s cultures
and reinforce interaction
between these two schools.
After the conference came to an end,
representatives from Udon Thani
Rajabhat also had a chance to
visit the NTCU’s library, campus
facilities, Chinese Language
Center and Department of Digital
Content and Technology. They
also dined with the NTCU’s
supervising directors for
further friendship bonding.
