

On March 9th, the NTCU Vice
President Chen Shyi-ming and two
other representatives
participated in the “2012
Taichung Houli Yamay Fullon
Hotel – Recruiting &
Academia-Industry Collaboration
Press Conference” co-hosted by
the Taichung-Changhwa Regional
Employment Services Center of
the Bureau of Employment and
Vocational Training at the
Council of Labor Affairs and Lih
Pao Fullon Hotel Chain. A
partnership agreement was also
signed at the event.
Taichung Yamay Fullon Hotel, whose grand opening
is this coming June, will be the
thirteenth hotel under Lih Pao’s
Fullon Hotel Chain . The hotel
will be hosting a career fair in
the lobby plaza of Houli Lih Pao
Yamay Recreation World on March

Employment and Vocational
Training and representatives
from 11 colleges and
universities, including the NTCU,
signed a partnership agreement.
The NTCU was represented by Vice
President Chen Shyi-ming,
Director Wu Chung-hung of the
Graduate Program of Tourism and
Recreation Management, and Chief
Lai Chi-song of the Center for
Teacher Education & Placement
Services. Vice President Chen
signed the partnership agreement
on behalf of the NTCU, vowing to
collaborate in cultivating
outstanding talents in the food
and beverage industry.
