President led the delegation
signed a Memorandum of
Understanding and Exchange with
vice dean of the Xiamen
University Tan Kah Kee College
on June 9, 2012. Also, the vice
dean of Tan Kah Kee College
accepted the invitation of our
school and is expected to visit
NTCU when coming to Taiwan in
November this year.
Next morning, the delegation visited the Central
Conservatory of Music - Gulangyu
Piano School, which has been the
music school for 12 years and
has top-class teachers and
facilities. Then they went to
the Dragon Pool next to Jimei
District tan kah kee Secondary
School in the afternoon, visit
the "cross-strait dragon boat
races and cheer for our
students. Next, they went to
Jimei University in the morning
of July 11th. The school's
teachers are dealing with the
exchange things with Taiwan and
are very interested in
continuing education in our
school. During the afternoon,
they visit the Xiamen University
of Technology, which was
established in 2005 in Fujian
Province. They have teachers in
good standing and the latest
facilities. The delegation was
warmly welcomed by the President
Guo of Xiamen University of
Technology and Party Secretary
Yang, and they were talking
deeply about the convergence of
the 3 +1 course. In the morning
of July 12th, the
delegation visited Huaqiao
University, and were greeted by
President Jia in person and
accompanied by head of Units.

University, Xiamen campus was
designed as a dragon boat (see
attached photo). And then, the
delegation went to on to Xiamen
City area to visit the Wharton
cultural and educational
institutions - kindergartens and
English schools, operated by Ou
Chief Executive-the graduate
student of our University, and
spoke about the internship
opportunity in Xiamen City for
school graduates, which is the
workable mode for our students
in the future.
