101 Freshmen Entrance Ceremony was held in Sept. 13 to 14 in NTCU. There were many Chinese formalities including the Confucianist rites, coming of age declaration, and thanksgiving postcard. The postcard was written at the ceremony and will be delivered to students’ parents.
     Specially, two speeches of life education were addressed by the seniors. The student unions and clubs also performed their active achievements. NTCU encourages students to teach with benevolence in their future and gave the Confucius’ Ideal of a Commonwealth State – a Great Utopia – The world of Da – Tong in four languages to them. Not only refinement, creativity, and new prospects, but also the teaching profession – Confucius are in NTCU.
