Huang Jia Hua is the Associate Dean
of Fuzhou Institute of Education. He
led some chairpersons from Fuzhou
Institute of Education and also,
some principals and vice principals
from Fujian Teacher In-service
Training Schools to visit the
National Taichung University of
Education (NTCU). The total member
of people from both schools was 25.
The visit took place on December 3
and 4, 2012. The purpose of the
visit was to attend the leadership
enhancing program, which was set up
by the Division of Continuing
Education, to strengthen one’s
leadership knowledge.
The leadership enhancing program included both
theoretical and practical
information. Yang Szu-Wei, the
president of the NTCU, presented the
evolution of elementary school
education in Taiwan. Also,
professors from the Department of
Education offered additional
leadership-related courses. All the
courses were highly praised by Huang
Jia Hua and the other group members.
The National Taichung University of Education and
Fuzhou Institute of Education had
signed an agreement for the
enhancement and exchange of
educational ideas in November 2010.
To date, three sessions have
occurred to fulfill this agreement.
As these mutual exchanges have
created a good relationship between
all these three schools, more
educational activities between the
Mainland and Taiwan will surely
continue in the future. |
