Grand opening ceremony for NTCU Innovation and Incubation Center was held in 2^nd January, 2014 and Tang Guo Tai (唐國泰), the chief Executive in the Central Taiwan Joint Services Center of Executive Yuan joined the celebration with NTCU faculty, as well.
     In the recent years, NTCU devoted aggressively to the university transformation according to the governmental policy and the industrial development. Based on teacher nurturing and newly developed industry promoting, NTCU expected to be a liberal arts university. Moreover, NTCU has established various newly developed industries in educational culture, humanity and liberal arts, tourism and recreation, and digital content and technology. Particularly the research in “Big Data” from the Graduate Institute of Educational Measurement and Statistics is the lead of Taiwan and it has accomplished many technologies transferred and authorized.
      To merge with multi-culture and innovative energy for industries in central Taiwan, NTCU Innovation and Incubation Center expected to foster the local brand of promotion and innovation. Additionally, NTCU creates the new value of inheritance, innovative education, digital technology, cultural creation, and management.
