

A signing
ceremony of three-technology
licensing between National Taichung
University of Education (NTCU) and
Archin Automatic Installation
Control Co., Ltd. took place on Jan.
20th, 2014. Professor Chen-Tang Hou,
the vice president of NTCU, Mr.
Hsieh-Sen Wu, the manager of Archin
Automatic Installation Control Co.,
Ltd. and Dr. Chiing-Chang Chen, a
professor in the Dept. of Science
Application and Dissemination,
participated in the ceremony.
The licensing fee of the three technologies is NT$ 200
thousand and one year later the
royalties gained from the sales will
be transferred to the campus fund,
which shall increase the technology
licensing in the University.
The three technologies have been patented in Taiwan and
can be applied to daily life, which
is good for enhancing green
technology. In addition, the
technology licensing tallies with
the government and the Ministry of
Education’s policy of encouraging
industry-academia cooperation and
shall benefit the University’s
diversified developing strategy.
